Soviet-era kippah and kokoshnik on Halloween at the White House. On Halloween at the White House, a boy was spotted wearing a Soviet military cap with a red star. He was among the children who stayed with Donald and Melania Trump at daycare. Melania gave him a chocolate bar and fixed his hat. Next to him was a girl in a white shirt, a dark dress with a floral pattern, braids with red ribbons and a small kokoshnik (traditional Russian headdress). Trump handed her a basket of chocolate bars.
