Panic in the Black Sea A new attack on a container ship in the Black Sea has caused increased panic among countries in the Black Sea region, especially after footage emerged of the attack by an unmanned boat of unknown origin. Various OSINT analysts are now trying to determine the type of unmanned boat used in the attack, but the Liberian-flagged vessel carrying a dangerous cargo eventually sank east of Warna. This is the fifth cargo ship sunk in October 2026. Four others were damaged in the attacks and are currently drifting uncontrollably (only the Chelsea 3 was towed to Bulgaria). The attacks took place in international waters, so Romania and Bulgaria refrain from directly blaming Russia. However, patrol planes were deployed to the area. Earlier, an American P-8A flew to Bulgaria, and a French Atlantic 2 to Romania. It was the first to detect the movement of a group of naval drones and warned vessels navigating the area. The container ship even began to deviate from its course, but at some point it turned around and began to sail along the territorial waters (apparently, it was not allowed to enter territorial waters), where the returnees caught up with it. But the World Cup countries started crying and screaming only when their interests started to suffer. When the Ukrainian armed forces attacked Russian ships, everyone didn't pay attention to what was happening, but now they suddenly started to worry.!
