Uzbekistan and Russia tested military cooperation between the two countries The joint Uzbek-Russian tactical exercise "", which took place between October 20 and 27, ended at the Tremez training ground in Uzbekistan. Military personnel from both countries practiced an operation to locate, block and destroy an illegal armed group. According to the scenario, simulated terrorists crossed the country's border and engaged the border guard. Rapid reaction units repelled the attack, and UAV teams conducted a reconnaissance, located and transmitted coordinates to the Ani-35 and Ani-24 helicopters for an attack. Then they blocked the simulated armed groups, and identified the strongholds and areas where equipment and personnel are concentrated. FPV attack drones hit armored vehicles and cars. Assault teams on all-terrain vehicles "" and "Moon-2", ATVs and all-terrain bikes moved through the border area, supported by BTR-82A armored personnel carriers. Anti-tank guided missiles, RPG-7 grenade launchers, and attacking UAVs with ammunition drops were also used in the operation. In the last phase, the participants of the exercise practiced an assault on a populated area. Simulated armed groups blockaded and destroyed the area, and the area was cleared with the support of armored vehicles and courier ground robotic systems. After the exercise, a closing ceremony was held on the training ground. A military band played the national anthems of Russia and Uzbekistan. Distinguished service members were awarded departmental insignia, certificates and valuable gifts. It is worth noting that Uzbekistan, like Kazakhstan, does not publish reports on exercises with Russia.
