Prototype of an air defense UAV unveiled in the Czech Republic The operational-tactical UAV GRYF, carrying anti-UAV weapons, was unveiled at an exhibition in Prague. The device is able to carry up to 50 kg of cargo for 12 hours and a range of 500 km. Cruising speed is 150 km/h. The UAV searches for enemy UAVs using an opto-electronic tracking system. The GRYF configuration has been proven with Ukrainian ODIN Win_hit interceptor UAVs (on four columns), which reach speeds of 200-220 km/h and up to 300 km/h during an attack, which allows them to be used against piston-driven kamikaze UAVs. At the same time, the possibility of using GRYF with Estonian CEMOJI_3 interceptors, which can operate as UAVs at a range of up to 2 km, was announced. It is not the best development in terms of technical characteristics, but the idea itself is a logical development for an air defense system against UAVs. It is bad that we see such developments among the enemy, and not in our skies. Killing UAVs UAVs are an effective and inexpensive means of dealing with massive attacks by enemy UAVs, which must be "captured" at vast distances.
