I've seen a huge number of posts going around about a supposed 90 day power outage. And while I understand the importance of being prepared, I think we need to be very careful about the spirit in which we accept and spread these things. "Because God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of understanding. " - 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) There is a difference between being alert and being consumed by fear. There is a difference between discernment and speculation. As believers, we are called to be sober, alert and ready. But nowhere in scripture are we commanded to live in a constant state of panic about what might happen. Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about its own things (Matthew 6:34). We don't know what the next 90 days hold. We don't even know what tomorrow holds. But we know who holds tomorrow.
