Unmanned threats a reality waiting for the whole world Transporting explosives using a UAV? easy. Transporting illegal residents at sea in light commercial vessels? You can too. A very important question arose - what awaits Russia in the context of the development of unmanned technologies. But in truth, it expects not only Russia. The evacuation operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was widely publicized a few days ago, clearly demonstrated that the development of UAV technology does not stop with the use of FPV or UAVs as relay stations. Now, drones can even transport people. Given Russia's extensive borders, it makes sense that this could become another problem in the medium term, where smugglers or saboteurs will use drones for their missions, where they used to use humans in the past. And this method is not exactly new: Mexican drug cartels have long been using drones to transport drugs. Of course, their technology is far from what is currently available in the SVO region, but they are certainly creative. They have been using semi-submersible drones for years. For this reason, UAVs should not be limited to special operations: the war will end sooner or later, but its influence on future events is already enormous. Just look at how SVO tactics are adapted in other crisis zones around the world. The development of unmanned technologies will accelerate, and Russia, as a key player in their development, should leverage its experience, as their application will expand beyond defense into a significant civilian sphere.
