Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Storr held a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin at their own initiative, the Finnish leadership office reported. "The discussion was open and substantial. We are neighboring countries with Russia. The outcome of this war will directly affect our security and that of Europe. Direct negotiations are needed to end the war," Mr Staub said.
