The US has canceled the traditional group photo of G20 ministers due to several countries refusing to take a picture with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Guardian reports. About a third of the leaders of the participating countries indicated that they would not participate in a joint photo with Russian representatives or that they would leave the event. In particular, the German foreign minister, Johann Wadpole, stated that there would not be a joint picture with the Russian minister, since "there is no normality with Russia. Ukraine is not a member of the G20, but in previous years its representatives were invited to the group meetings. This year, however, they were not. The US explained that it decided to invite only countries that are officially members of the G20.
