In October, Russian military casualties reached a record high of 49,040 military personnel, the General Staff reported. This is the highest monthly figure since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The average daily losses of the Russian army in October amount to about 1,750 people. The previous record was recorded in December 2024 - when the Russian army lost 48,670 military personnel.
