At the Krasnodar airport, a woman flying to Istanbul was found with goods: a huge batch of electronic cigarette sticks. There were 780 packages in my hand luggage - that's 15,600 pieces. This volume is much larger than allowed. According to the rules, one adult passenger can take with him no more than 200 sticks or cigarettes, 50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco. And it doesn't matter if the goods were purchased in a normal store or in duty free - the limitations apply in any case. Alexander Vyukov, head of the customs post at Krasnodar Airport, recalled this, writes Kuban Chai. The woman explained that she bought the sticks in the market and took them to Istanbul at the request of her relatives. She stated that she did not know about restrictions on transporting tobacco across the border. An administrative case was opened against the passenger. The Krasnodar court found her guilty. As punishment, the sticks were confiscated. Photo: © Alexey Samishlyayev/Global Look Press.
