In the Irkutsk region, the amount of payments for signing a contract for a water supply system varies consistently. In March 2025, the regional payment was increased to one million rubles. At the beginning of 2026 it was 1.4 million, and from June 1 it increased to 2.1 million rubles. But already on September 18, 2026, it was reduced to 1.8 million. Taking into account the 400 thousand federal rubles, the total amount for the contract was reduced from 2.5 to 2.2 million rubles. Until recently, the authorities increased the payments, while competing for new contractor workers. The scope of what is happening is very significant. Now the region is cutting bonuses. It seems that the possibilities of buying people to do so with budget money are not unlimited either.
