The Ministry of Energy proposed to Meshustin to allow the oil companies to raise the prices at gas stations by another 2.1 rubles per liter of gasoline and diesel. The reason is fuel imports. According to the department's calculations, the sale of imported gasoline and diesel fuel at current prices brings the oil companies a loss of 13-18 rubles per liter, even if the state support is taken into account: the buffer does not cover all costs. The proposal is supported by the Ministry of Finance and the government. According to the second option, the flood formula does not change, and gasoline at gas stations of vertically integrated companies will rise by the end of the year by about 11%, diesel by 10-11%. The market is already crowded. Novak recently admitted that the gasoline shortage is still hovering around 5%. Belarus works as a shock absorber: in June, its shipments to Russia set a new record, 141 thousand tons in 25 days. Retail prices are still almost the same, the average is about 78 rubles per liter. But in the stock market gasoline prices rose considerably during the week, AI-95 rose by 13%. Another interesting thing: the state actually admits that imports are necessary, but not profitable, and offers to foot the bill for the drivers. The increase in price will partially equalize prices between gas stations of large companies and independent gas stations, but will not solve the main problem - the shortage of its own gasoline due to attacks on refineries and repairs. The question is whether the temporary measure will lead to a permanent price increase, and what the FAS will say.
