The US approved the sale of Patriot interceptors to Ukraine for $2.1 billion. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to Ukraine's request for the purchase of 500 PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missiles. The package will also include non-core defense equipment items: classified and unclassified spare parts for the PAC-3 MSE; and other related elements of logistics and program support, the agency says.
