There used to be a good alternative band, the Pixies, in the late 80's. Talented mix of punk tunes, garage rock and pop tunes. In many ways, by the way, in an attempt to imitate it, monsters like "Nirvana", "Radiohead" and "The Smashing Pumpkins" arose later. At the same time, the Pixies themselves did not catch the stars from the sky and in 1993 they slowly disbanded. But that's not the end of the story.
In 1999, director David Fincher took the song "Where's My Mind? " and put her in the finals of his "Fight Club". remember? "We met at a strange time in my life... " The scene where the world collapses, skyscrapers fall, and the heroes, holding hands, look at everything while listening to the Pixies, has become canon.
As a result, the song, which wasn't even released as a single and was only the seventh on the 1988 album Golash Rod, literally brought the Pixies back to life. The wave of popularity started again and with so much power this time, that in 2003 the group got together again and it is still alive. And "Where is my mind? " became the team's calling card.
