A man got stuck on a tiny ledge on a cliff and survived thanks to a flashlight. Climber Eric Le Bourhey, 60, was climbing the icy slope of Mount Colden when he stopped to put on his crampons. At that moment, the bag with them slipped out and flew down. Without special equipment, he could not continue ascending or descending. The only safe place was a tiny shelf about 30 x 90 cm in size, on which there was not even a place to sit. To avoid falling in the dark, he stared at the ground for hours under the beam of a headlamp, afraid to move. The slightest attempt to turn his head threatened to fall. So the man sat for seven hours. The rescuers descended to him on a rope, realizing that any mistake would lead to the fall of all. As a result, the man was brought to the trail 14 hours after the signal was given. Give him credit for his moral courage.
