The grandson of a participant in World War II demanded 215 thousand euros in court from Germany and Finland. The man tried to collect this amount from two countries for damage caused to his grandfather, who was captured in Finland in 1941. The court in the Krasnodar Territory refused to accept the claim, pointing to the immunity of jurisdiction of foreign countries and the impossibility of transferring the right to compensation for damage to life and health to another person.
