A security guard shot a 22-year-old man outside a Greyhound bus stop in Nashville after police said the man threw hot coffee in his face and repeatedly assaulted him. The guard was knocked to the ground twice before he opened fire, hitting the assailant in the hip and leg. The man was later arrested on charges of aggravated assault.
