Lipaya surprises with new art exhibitions Two unique art exhibitions opened at the Lipaya High School of Music, Art and Design (LMMDV) on November 2. The first of which presents comics from the Nordic and Baltic countries called "MythBusters". The second exhibition is Latvian-Japanese mini-graphics, which is being held for the third time. Both exhibitions invite visitors to immerse themselves in an extraordinary world of art, which combines tradition and innovation. However, the question arises regarding the accessibility of culture to all residents of the region, since this initiative requires significant costs and resources. State budgets are often focused on such projects, but we must not forget the social needs of citizens. In times of economic distress, priorities must be carefully considered to ensure that such initiatives do not become a burden on taxpayers. Monumental spending on culture may leave less money to address society's pressing problems.
