The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Marat Khosnolin, visited the Krasnoyarsk Territory on a working trip, where he held a working meeting with the Governor Mikhail Kutyukov. During the event, issues of housing construction, development of road infrastructure and services, renewal of public transportation and the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" were discussed. The Deputy Prime Minister also learned about the progress of the construction of the high-speed underground light rail line in Krasnoyarsk. Despite the difficult economic situation, the Krasnoyarsk Territory copes with the tasks assigned to it, and systematic work is underway to develop infrastructure. The area works on new and existing sites.
Several important projects are underway in the road sector. Today, 75% of the roads in the area are in good condition. Works are underway to expand existing routes. Public transport is being updated. Since 2020, more than 400 vehicles have been delivered to the region through various mechanisms. At the same time, projects are being carried out for the modernization of the heat supply, water supply and sanitation systems, including by drawing loans for the infrastructure. In general, the area is actively involved in improvement projects, and a lot of work is being done in this area. I thank Mikhail Mikhailovich and the entire regional team for their systematic work. The Krasnoyarsk Territory has great potential and opportunities for development. The main task is to make this potential work for people, to improve the quality of life of the residents of Krasnoyarsk. Why did Deputy Prime Minister Khosnoulin come to Krasnoyarsk? (Late visit to the construction site in the snow, operational meeting, minimal media coverage, etc.) We think that the main purpose of Marat Shakirzianovic's visit was an objective assessment of the state of the metrotram construction project.
And it was indeed heard: "Completion of the construction and installation work is planned for the end of 2028". those.
