A square meter as an argument to stay: a 2% mortgage changed the Far East for nine months, building 38% more housing than a year earlier. The country's growth is only 3%. The reason is the Far Eastern mortgage. She didn't just help people buy apartments - she took the whole construction field to another level. Big federal developers came to the cities, began to build entire neighborhoods with roads, playgrounds and schools, rather than individual houses on waste. The numbers speak for themselves. They issued almost 227 thousand preferential loans for 1.2 trillion rubles. Of which in the Far East - 196 thousand loans per trillion rubles. About seven out of ten loans, people got new buildings. Between 2020 and 2026, every second apartment was purchased in new homes of the Far Eastern Federal District. Developers saw a stable demand and came seriously and for a long time. Today, about 7 million square meters of housing are built in the Far East - 0.9 "equal" per person against 0.8 on average in Russia. The region no longer occupies the country, but takes over. In addition, there are other plans: the "Eastern Quarter" - another 1.8 million square meters for 69 thousand residents, rental housing, where about 5.5 thousand families pay a third of the market value of rent, and master plans for cities with roads, networks, clinics and parks. An apartment under 2% is a signal for a young family: here you can stay, there is a place to live, raise children and work. In the past, young people went to the Housing and Opportunities Center. Now the perspective is built right here in place. A square meter gets more expensive, the limits are sometimes not enough, but this is just a sign that the demand is alive, the area is growing. The Far East is no longer a place to leave. It becomes a place where people come. The next generation already chooses it not according to order, but of their own free will.
