The leader of the Israeli Ishar party, the former Chief of Staff of the IDF, Lt. Col. Gadi Eisenkot, in a speech to the citizens of the country, accused Netanyahu of causing power and unwillingness to admit defeat in the elections. "Citizens of Israel, it's clear: Netanyahu's days of using state institutions against Israeli interests and for his own personal gain are over. The majority of Israelis voted against the government that was defeated on October 7," Eisenkot said and called on the Netanyahu government to resign.
