The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan presented a bill to clarify the republican budget for 2026. The government proposes to immediately increase revenues by 242.6 billion som (from 551.2 to 793.8 billion), and expenses by 234 billion (from 550.8 billion to 784 billion). Such an emergency budget adjustment at the end of the year is needed to absorb the money that suddenly fell before the end of the year. First of all, 54.2 billion som came from dividends from gold mining and energy from government companies, the National Bank transferred 16.5 billion, plus tax revenues exceeded 112.5 billion. Therefore, the Cabinet of Ministers reassembled the budget, but due to a late amendment, the money was apparently dispersed as much as they could. Thus, for example, 17.68 billion som will be allocated to the Barskun-Badel road. At the same time, the inflation forecast for the year was revised from 6.5% to 11% - to justify the increase in prices that may happen when the money is dispersed in the market.
