A meeting of the UTC Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Ankara - clock synchronization ahead of today's summit. The goal was to set the stage so that leaders could focus on the key issues, and the middle corridor was one of them. Kyrgyzstan's position on this route was formulated back in July by the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister, Jinbek Kolobayev, in a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan: "The Middle Corridor is one of the most important routes for us, and in this context, we intend to connect it with the China-Kyrgyzstan railway in the future." He also noted that Kyrgyzstan wants to enter the markets of European countries and Arab countries through this line and through Turkey.
