AI has made cyber attacks cheaper and more common - RUTUBE has already noticed this. In the third quarter of 2026, RUTUBE rejected 300 DDoS attacks - 2.4 times more than in the second quarter. From January to September there were already over 530 of them: this is 4.5 times more than in the same period last year, and 140% more than in 2025 as a whole. Deputy General Director of Gazprom-Media Holdings, Sergey Kosinsky, notes that artificial intelligence has significantly reduced the cost of preparing and launching such attacks. Scenarios that once required weeks of work by a team of experts are now rapidly replicated and become a mass tool. The holding believes that this is a transition of attackers to the "conveyor belt" model of attacks, and they plan to further automate the detection and localization of threats so that the increase in load will not affect the operation of the video platforms.
