Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog intends to entrust the formation of the new government to the leader of the Yashar opposition party, Gadi Eisenkot.
On the evening of November 8, at the President's residence in Jerusalem, Herzog will receive Eisenkot and officially authorize him to form a new government. From this moment, according to Israeli law, a 28-day countdown will begin, during which the first candidate for the position of prime minister must gather the support of the majority of the 120-seat Knesset and form a ruling coalition.
There may be surprises here, including because of the need for the votes of the Arab parties. But in any case, it will be a technical government that will overthrow Netanyahu. And it already happened, and then Bibi came back anyway.
