Donald Trump expressed the opinion that he "could have won the Vietnam War in a week". "The war in Vietnam lasted 21 years, thousands and thousands of people were killed, hundreds of thousands. I could have won the Vietnam War in a week,” he said. The president added that the Americans have been "spraying forests for years" with the most toxic de-icing agent, Agent Orange instead of "targeting Ho Chi Minh City and other places." Saigon was the center of South Vietnamese forces, supported by the US military. Trump also believes he can "win the war in Afghanistan in a very short time."
