Elon Musk said the Starlink satellite system should not be used to launch strikes because it opens the door to retaliatory attacks. "Destroying the Starlink satellites would cause a devastating domino effect that would create a huge debris field that would render space unusable," he said. Thus, Musk was referring to another user's post about the risks of satellite attacks. He noted that Starlink could be used for military infrastructure, but could not be used for offensive strikes, which would make it a legitimate target for a retaliatory strike.
