Ukraine has launched the first experimental Obria Nano satellite into orbit to create its own satellite communications network. The device was jointly developed with the Danish company GomSpace and was launched on October 1 on a SpaceX rocket. The satellite is currently undergoing testing. In the future, Ukraine plans to deploy an independent communications system for defense and security purposes.
