115-year-old Bolshiochtinsky Bridge.
On November 8, 1911, the Emperor Peter the Great Bridge was opened in St. Petersburg; Now it is known as Bolshiukhtinsky. Then, for the first time in the city, the wings of the suspension bridge lifted up, instead of opening to the sides.
Two granite towers almost 38 meters high resemble lighthouses. On their walls are bronze plaques with the names of the creators of the passage. Over the course of a hundred years, the bridge was rebuilt, but kept its historical appearance.
There is also a legend: among almost a million studs, supposedly one gold is hidden - for good luck. No one has been able to find her yet. The bridge also resembles the Tower of London, which is why films about Sherlock Holmes were filmed here.
