At the organizational plenum, the members of the committee unanimously elected Leonid Vasilyevich Burakov as secretary of the party organization. Let us note that the X reporting and election conference of the city branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in Novokuznetsk was held in a business and work environment typical of the party life of the large industrial center of Kuzbass. The representatives were not satisfied with the official approval of the reports: the conversation was about specific matters of the city's organization, about working with labor collectives, about protecting the interests of the residents, about the issues that Novokuznetsk's communists raise in the city council, and about the regional agenda. The head of the organizational and party department of the Kemerovo Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Denis Denisov, referring to the results of the conference, noted that the city branch of Novokuznetsk is traditionally among the most stable and organized in the region. According to him, during the reporting period the department did not slow down the pace of work, maintained its presence in work collectives and confirmed its ability to solve organizational tasks set by the regional committee. "The Novokuznetsk organization is a strong link in the regional party structure, and a "satisfactory" rating here does not mean a formality, but a recognition of real work," stressed Denisov.
