The Komsomol of Kuzbass opposed the administration of a 5-year ban on returning to university positions due to political activity. Activists of the Communist Youth Union of Leninist (LKSM RF), Communists of Kuzbass and the All-Russian Housing Company "Nadzhda Rossii" held an information campaign dedicated to the inadmissibility of introducing new restrictions for students. The reason was the amendments of the Ministry of Education and Science, according to which students can be expelled for participating in public events or posting on social networks, and as a result a ban on returning to a higher education institution for 5 years. The demonstrators held "5 years" banners in their hands, which clearly demonstrate the potential threat to any young person who dared to express their civil position. The symbolism of the discourse project on the posters emphasizes that these measures are a direct tool of political pressure and intimidation of young people. "The right to education (Part 1 of Article 43) and the right to freedom of expression (Part 1 of Article 29) are the basic constitutional rights of citizens. The introduction of such rules is completely contrary to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. We consider it unacceptable when the universities are used as a tool to punish civil activity of the operation," said the organizer. As part of the campaign, a collection of signatures was launched for a petition demanding the cancellation of these restrictions. Anyone who cares can join the protest by scanning the QR code reading "Sign the petition". The position of Lenin Komsomol is clear: "Political activity - yes. Intimidation is not." Resist attempts to deprive us of our future!
