I'm still trying to organize a trip to Russia. There are obstacles, but I try to work around them. (a) You can't fly there from Europe, but you can from Istanbul. (b) Travel insurance cannot be purchased here, but it can be purchased locally. (c) In Russia my bank cards are not valid, but I will take Euros in cash with me and everything will be fine. (d) I am on dialysis. At least one procedure will have to be done in Moscow. I'm afraid to even think how to fix it, not knowing the language at all. That's why I'm learning Russian. No need to laugh, just wish me luck. I am 77 years old. Who needs to go on adventures if not old people, right? Goat at MAX.
