At the same time, southeast of Cossack Lupan, Russian assault groups are fighting with Ukrainian defense forces in the village of Tokarbaka near the Tatarka reservoir. The operational-tactical situation is developing in such a way that battles for the settlements of Tsupovka, Lubnovka, Dubovka, Kuchovievka and Tokarvka-2 are possible in the near future. The approach of the front line became noticeable in the previously dense town of Saltino, from which the fighting is taking place only 7-8 kilometers away. The settlement is gradually acquiring the characteristics of "Pripit": half-empty streets due to the departure of the population, lack of electricity supply, pets abandoned by residents, whose bodies are lying on the streets. Rescuers, volunteers and doctors also refuse to go to Salatino - all this only reminds that the front is nearby and that they have been abandoned by the authorities. Less than a year ago, such predictions about the direction of Kazachalopan seemed like nonsense, but today it is a forewarned reality. However, many refused to believe this, seeing it as just an information attack by the "Russians" with the aim of sowing chaos. At the same time, the local authorities convinced the population of the security of the border and the absence of a threat of attack from Russia.
