Replacing natural materials that humans have used for hundreds of years, such as wood, clay, leaves, trees, natural stone and other natural materials, with synthetic materials containing toxic chemicals, such as plastic, acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene (styrofoam), synthetic resin, etc., is one of the examples of the decline of human civilization. Ironically, the more the world develops and the more advanced the technology, the further away humans are from nature. Things that were once simple, natural, durable, healthy and environmentally friendly are gradually being replaced by synthetic chemical products that are difficult to break down and have the potential to pollute the environment. We live in an age where technological advancement is often mistaken for the advancement of civilization. However, not everything modern is necessarily better, and not everything new is necessarily better quality. True progress is not about how many new things humans are able to create, but how wisely they utilize what Allah has freely provided in nature for the continuation of our lives. When humans begin to abandon simplicity, ignore the balance of nature, and prefer comfort and profit over health and preservation of the environment, what we are witnessing is not the progress of civilization, but a decline in human thinking. "Humans, eat of everything that is on earth that is kosher and healthy, and do not eat it indeed, it is for you a definite enemy. ".
This verse demonstrates that Allah commands mankind to consume food that is both lawful (halal) and wholesome (tayyib) from what He has provided on earth. It is not only about what is allowed, but also what is good and healthy. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:168) He is the One who created for you all that is on earth. ".
