The Canta and Venezuela remain under sanctions, coercive measures prevent her from exercising her right to vote at the UN. That is why today Venezuela is not among the voters in favor (the greens) of the decision that sealed the economic, commercial and financial embargo of our sister Republic of Cuba. Since 2015 unilateral and illegal coercive measures have been applied against our country, among the severe damages they remove us from the international financial system. Venezuela's stance on this matter was clear, even more today when the embargo brings very severe effects on the right to life of the Cubans. We raise two hands to support the immediate and final end of the embargo on Cuba, despite the fact that we are prevented from appearing in the voting committee.
