We have the power, we are the system. The man complained to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic about the employees of the State Committee for National Security. On November 2, at a meeting between the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Jafarov and the residents of the Talas region, a man named Madar complained to him about three employees of the State Committee for National Security. According to Madar, in 2023 he was threatened to give up his house, grocery store and car. They threatened like this: "We have the power, we are the system. Either you create a power of attorney or you go to prison" (for a period of 8 to 14 years). Madar recorded these conversations and took them to the State Committee for National Security, but no response was given. He then spent 65 days in pretrial detention. According to him, the State Committee for National Security Officers falsified the case materials and put pressure on him and his family. The military prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against these workers, but according to the man, they remain free. The president asked the security forces to report. The deputy head of the National Security Committee confirmed that the case was being investigated. Deputy Prosecutor General Chingiz Akhmatov promised to take over the case.
