The bureaucrats in Turkmenistan do not allow new houses to settle. A paradoxical situation has developed in Turkmenistan: construction companies that have temporarily built housing near Ashgabat under the state arrangement cannot receive payment because officials do not sign acceptance certificates. As a result, the business owes the banks, and about 200 families are unable to settle in ready-made apartments. Chronicle of Turkmenistan writes that this fate befalls four 48 houses erected six months ago in the city of Jokdap, as well as cottage houses in Anau. Officials do not sign acts of acceptance of finished objects. They do not explain the reasons for the delay in the buildings or the future residents. "The heads of construction companies and dozens of failed ports call the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Construction, Industry and Energy of Turkmenistan Beimrat Anamednov guilty, and prevent the acceptance of houses for operation," the statement said. This is not an isolated incident. The publication notes that this practice is becoming systemic: in the city of Arkadag, admissions operations have not been published for more than a year. As a result of this policy, the construction business suffers losses, some companies close and leave the country.
