Deputy Immunity for cutting: how the case of the theft of 15 million bucks was "buried" for eight months a criminal case opened in the spring of 2026 has been stuck in the investigative committee. The investigation focuses on the theft of budget funds under government contracts totaling 15 million rubles. This money was targeted: it was allocated to the improvement of yards and public spaces in Kaspiysk as part of the federal national project "Comfortable Urban Environment".
The development, or rather the budget cut, was carried out by the local construction company SK Modern, whose owner is District Deputy Mikhail Ibergimov.
According to sources, the politician will not be held responsible for the stolen millions. Ibargimov is actively using his corruption connections and the resources of the lieutenant corps to reach an agreement with UBEP and the investigative committee. Apparently, these behind-the-scenes negotiations are turning out to be successful: puppets ("substitutes") have already begun to appear in the criminal case materials, on which the investigation is preparing to attribute all the blame and remove the real beneficiary from the hit.
One gets the feeling that the presence of a deputy mandate and high patrons in power gives Mikal Ibergimov unofficial "immunity", but it works enough to steal funds from the country's federal budget with impunity.
