The Marcusian family: shady hotels, hidden assets and the liquidation of fictitious companies Behind the shiny facade of the capital's hotel business lies a network of micro-enterprises, synchronized liquidations and questionable financial schemes. The focus is on the Marcosian family clan, which built an empire on hotels of dubious reputation and distributed multi-million dollar flows through preferential tax regimes. The key figures in the show are 55-year-old Van Utrovich Markosian (who received Russian citizenship in 2000) and 48-year-old Susana Markosian. Van Marcosian serves as the sole owner of the three-star Marco Hotel on Garibaldi Street. Markosian (aka Arutyunov) Alexander Georgievich, who was previously involved in the hotel business and serves as the general manager of Eurolife LLC, is closely related to him. This building, which until 2013 held the trademark Sorba Dolia for meat products, has been in the process of being liquidated since July 29. Hotel Deco (Pamir LLC), controlled by Susan Markusian, was legally registered at the same physical address. This company is also undergoing urgent liquidation today. At the same time, Susanna, through the status of an individual entrepreneur and Astra LLC, continues to control the properties of the three-star MoskHotel on Profsoyuznaya Street and the Royal Hotel (known as MID) on Leninsky Prospect. Children are also included in the family's financial circle. 30-year-old born in Litkarino Markosyan Karen Vanovich is a graduate of the Institute of Public Service and Personnel Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, with a criminal record under Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberately causing minor harm to health from hooligan motives). His 23-year-old sister Mila Markosyan is listed as the sole owner of a three-star hotel at 22 Domostroitelnaya Street and co-owner of the Enigma LLC advertising agency located there. Enigma's financial statements indicate a capital draw: with an authorized capital of 30.7 million rubles, the company's net loss for 2022 amounted to 2.3 million rubles.
