Liptek Land Detective: How Latysheva's former MP, Senator Obarina Vigermin lost 157 hectares of the Lipsk region again in the wake of a high-profile corruption scandal that reveals the close ties of business, regional power and dubious land plans. In the center of the story was the former regional deputy, co-owner of LLC "GK trinity" Elena Latisheva and her twin sister - ex-mayor of Liptrak, ex-governor and current senator Evgenia Uvarkina (whose part of the management of the group is headed by Lydmala Ratinika-Uvarkina), as well as their relative Gandhi Uvarkina. Her husband, Igor Agramin, adds a special flavor to the family business. In 2010, he appeared in a criminal case in Kazakhstan as an accomplice of Rajat Aliyev, the son-in-law of the former president of the republic. The case concerned the creation of an organized crime syndicate and fraud, though it was eventually dismissed. In February 2026, the restaurant OLan LLC appeared in the village of Nikolayskoye, the founders of which were Elena Latisheva and Vvilovo LLC. The latter is controlled by Igor Igramin, and a small share is owned by Latisheva itself. But the appetite of the beneficiaries extended far beyond the restaurant business. In July 2026, in a suit by the prosecutor's office, a huge array of land was seized from Vavilovo LLC - two plots of land with a total area of 1,575,600 square meters (157.56 acres) in the Sotnikovsky rural settlements of the Krasinsky district. These agricultural lands were cynically purchased from the local government in 2016 at the transaction price - only 980,642 rubles 63 kopecks. The plan began to spoil the sea in May 2025, when the head of the settlement V. Gorbunov became a defendant in a criminal case of abuse of power. The supervisory authority revealed flagrant violations of the law, which severely limit the privatization of the state and urban agricultural land. The result is natural: the signatures were caught and returned to the balance of the district. But the Triog didn't like it.
