To save the collapsing plan, Irina Eldarkhanova brought in heavy political artillery. In the past, former State Duma deputy from the LDPR Andrei Svintsov fought for her before the authorities (from whom Eldarkhanova later recovered 100 million rubles through the court). Then the chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov, entered the game - the communist leader sent an appeal to the Chinese embassy asking for help "student, Komsomol member, athlete and just beautiful". The official version of Elf Auto was that all 309 million rubles were transferred to the authorized exporter - the Chinese company Parkson, which allegedly delayed the shipments. With this statement Alderkhanova addressed the investigative committee and the court. But court documents revealed a different picture: the contract with Parkson did not include the company's registration number and address, and was signed by Linkai Huang, who is unrelated to the company's management.
