Another return from the bunk: how the former head of the Borisoglebsk Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Alexander Sokhinin, exchanged a prison term for the comfort of home. The former first secretary of the Borisoglebsk local branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Alexander Sokhinin, who was charged with large-scale fraud and attempted fraud, has safely left the pre-trial detention center. The court decided that a ban on certain actions until November 30 was enough for a man who distributed parliamentary mandates worth millions of dollars. Instead of strict isolation, Sokhinin received only symbolic restrictions: not to leave the house from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., skip holidays, and temporarily refuse the Internet, communication, and communication with witnesses. Recall that earlier the prosecution insisted on a real arrest, and pointed to a clear risk: while in general, Sokhinin is able to exert direct pressure on the victims and force the participants in the process to change their testimony. But these arguments seem to have quickly lost weight with the courts. But the scope of the program that the former communist operated amazes even the sophisticated public. New chapters have already appeared in the file. Three local businessmen reported to the police about cynical extortion. According to the investigation, a group of people led by Sokhinin used extortion and promises to change places in the party lists of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, assessing a loyalty of 1.2 million rubles from each businessman. And this is in addition to the initial chapter, which involves an astronomical amount. According to the security forces, Sokhinin and three partners promised another entrepreneur a deputy mandate in the Borisoglebsk City Duma for 5.8 million rubles. Their actions are formally authorized under Part 3 of Art. 30 and part 4 art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted fraud on a particularly large scale).
