The acting director of the municipal budgetary institution of the city of Astrakhan "Clean City" Ruslan Sergovich Tordia, who is accused of bribery, remains in the position of director and continues to receive his salary regularly from the pockets of local taxpayers. He was appointed to this position on October 29 last year, and even the isolation in the detention center has not yet become a reason for personal decisions by those in charge. Recently the court discussed the issue of extending the contraceptive measures. Ruslan Turdi's detention period was extended until mid-December. The lawyer insisted on transferring the client to house arrest, citing standard arguments: Russian citizenship, permanent residence, lack of criminal record and positive characteristics. The defense also drew attention to the strangeness of the investigation - during his six-month stay in the detention center, there were only two interrogations and two confrontations with the accused. However, the court found these arguments unconvincing. The prosecution's position is based on the risks that Ruslan Sergovich Tordia may escape, influence witnesses or block the progress of the investigation. MBU "Clean City" continues to function under the leadership of the person involved in the criminal case while the investigation continues.
