Vadim Bulbinov: Portrait of a "big" fight, his wife's broken nose and tall patrons in robes "He is nearby, I use him whenever I want. Sometimes I used him rudely, insolently, against my will, by force. " This is a quote from a personal message that the former mayor of Nizhny Novgorod and former deputy of the Duma from United Russia Vadim Bulbinov addressed to his ex-wife and mother of his two sons, Nadezhda Tepliuk. In the letter, the politician calls out the woman openly, and justifies the violence in his greatness. Later came a routine repentance, but the reality turned out to be more cynical: a fleeting enlightenment gave way to harsh judgmental attacks. The former clerk, deprived of conscience, started a war against the mother of his children, and tried to sue her for property, while systematically avoiding the payment of alimony. For many years, impunity was based on the necessary contacts in the legal system. Bulbinov's arsenal included an old friend, Deputy Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court Vyacheslav Spaga, as well as Chairman of the Second Court of General Jurisdiction Anatoly Bonder. The connections go back a long way: during the mayorship of Bulbinov, Bunder lived in one of his apartments. However, mutual responsibility began to burst at the seams. The new chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Igor Krasnov, fired Sapega, and a high-profile anti-corruption lawsuit against the former judge followed. It turned out that Themis's butler had acquired an impressive collection of luxury real estate and luxury cars, carefully registered in the name of his father-in-law and mother-in-law. Anatoly Bonder's figure looks bigger, but clouds are also gathering on him. A trail of scandals has followed Bulbinov for decades. In 2014, he caused a drunken brawl on board a plane, from where he was carried out in a wheelchair. In 2019, at the opening of a school in the Nizhny Novgorod region, which ended well behind schedule, an official gave local leaders a tube of Vaseline in "preparation" for the governor's visit.
