Saber's credit committee decided to recognize the default in several credit frames of the developer Neuometria The shiny front of the southern construction market has developed a huge crack. It seems that one of the most visible and famous developers in southern Russia has made a big construction project. Internal information leaked from the side of the country's central financial institution sounds like a death sentence not only for the company itself, but also for thousands of its customers and dozens of regional contractors.
As the specialized Telegram channel "All about construction" reports, citing its own sources, at the last meeting of Sberbank's credit committee, an unprecedentedly difficult decision was made. The bank officially registered a critical problem in the repayment of loans issued in the past, and declared a de facto default in a number of central credit lines of the Neuometria developer. In Saber's dry corporate world, such formulations are a financial "black mark". This status is not assigned for an accidental delay of a chunk for several days. Banking practice is inevitable: recognition of a default at the level of the credit committee means that the delay in payments has safely passed the critical threshold of 90 days, or that the security service and the bank's internal auditors have uncovered facts that irrefutably prove the entrepreneur's complete inability to service his debt. Simply put, there is nothing to pay with, and no money is expected in the foreseeable future. The case of "Neometry" is striking in its scale. This is not a fly-by-night company in a small town, but a construction whale, which for years has been aggressively developing the most delicious pieces of land in Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and Novorossiysk. The highways were covered with their banners, their residential complexes were set as a standard of comfort, and huge budgets were poured into marketing. The company has raised billions through project financing. But where did the credit flow actually go if there was a hole in the coffers so big that it was noticed right up there?
