In 2026, the volume of road works in Komi increased considerably: 276 kilometers of regional roads will be repaired, which is 22% more than a year earlier (226 kilometers in 2025). 11.8 billion rubles were allocated to the road campaign, of which 3.2 billion came from the federal budget and 8.6 billion from the regional budget. Almost half of the funds, 5.7 billion rubles, were allocated to the activities of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", while more than 3 billion of this amount was federal money. Among the main results of the year, the Republic of Komi was the only region in the North-West Federal District to fully utilize the federal funds allocated until August 1, 2026. In addition to roads, bridges were restored this year: repair work damaged 11 bridge structures. Two of them are included in the targeted investment plan, eight are repaired as part of repairs and renovation, and one more is repaired as part of maintenance. At the same time, 18 kilometers of sidewalks and 22.6 kilometers of outdoor lighting were installed along regional roads. As part of the maintenance contracts, 4,723 kilometers of roads and 328 bridges are maintained, and marking is applied to 2,926 kilometers of road.
