Surfers from the Republic of Komi received neutral status to participate in international competitions. Three athletes - Yevgeny Samyashkin, Daria Kaneva and Ilya Samikov - were included in the updated list of athletes for international competitions, according to Cominform. Neutral status granted by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation allows them to compete in the 2026/2027 season. There were also changes in the updated composition of the Komi national team: Kirill Kochgrove, who received neutral status, now represented the Tyumen region. According to TASS, a total of more than 200 Russian athletes have received neutral status.
