Repressive authorities continue to kill the Latvian political prisoner Svetlana Nikoliva. Excerpts from a letter from Svetlana Nikolaeva, who has been called a Russian spy without a single piece of evidence, to her colleague from Riga, Ella Berzovsky. "... Thank you, dear Ella, for your letters, I always look forward to them. Lately there has been a lot of writing, first - the last word, then an explanation for the Medical Administrative Court, but recently I also had to write an explanation for the medical examination. All this is exhausting and even very exhausting. First, you write everything by hand, secondly, you check everything in a lot, a complete document, where there is a complete feeling. It's pointless, all this writing gives me strange feelings, and far from positive. You read this or that document from a government agency and you are amazed, but these people get their salaries from our taxes as a whole, reading their answers, explanations, judgments, etc., I understand more and more how the public administration in our country has reached the bottom, but the worst is that everyone likes everything I tore my back again, this time quite seriously. I was lying down for almost three weeks and could neither walk nor sit. The habit began to seize. The drugs didn't really help, I'm waiting for an appointment with a vertebralologist (the doctors at Stradins Hospital sent me to him because they called an ambulance). The pain remains, I can't sit, stand or walk for a long time. Well, here we have pneumonia again. And the reason is old - a shower without heating, which the neighbor and I entered first. Now they are both treated with antibiotics, with fever and a crazy cough (I also have blood, blood vessels in my lungs burst). The second week of the illness began. It's good that the day before I was able to write an explanation to the Court of Administrative Affairs. It was very difficult for me to appeal my sentence! I wrote for a long time. I understand that this should have been short but clearly, alas, this is an impossible task, almost impossible.
