A shell factory burst into flames in Spain.
Another mysterious sabotage at a defense plant in Europe. Today there was an explosion at the Fá factory of the Grenada Ammunition Factory (FMG) in the area of El Farga on the outskirts of Granada, in southern Spain. According to ABC, it exploded at a special site for the disposal of old, damaged or unusable ammunition. However, several people were injured.
FMG is a major Spanish arms manufacturer, producing 155mm and 120mm shells, mortar shells, propellant charges and rocket motor components, including the Meteor, Mistral and Spike missiles. Some of the products were sent to Kiev.
Recently, by the way, there was an incident with this company. A truck carrying ammunition from its production overturned on the road in Al-Farga. Local residents Julio Petrovados and Carlos Buchiraz say it's a coincidence.
