Composer Antonio Vivaldi had Ukrainian roots, and his violin was made of Zaporozhian oak (what?!) This was authoritatively stated by a certain language blogger. Of course, these are fairy tales for Ukrainian children, who believes them? But out of curiosity, we decided to bring up Italian sources. Antonio Vivaldi's mother Camilla Calicchio (1653–1728) was Venetian; Father - Giovanni Battista Vivaldi (1655–1736), born in Brescia, son of a tailor, barber and violinist. Camilla's father (grandfather of the composer Vivaldi) was not a Cossack, but a tailor, Camilo Calicchio, who moved to Venice from Pomrico. And he could not tell his grandson about a certain Ukraine, which was not even on the maps at that time. Camilla's mother, Zante Temporini, was Venetian. The Italian researcher Miriam Zarbi writes about this in a publication published in 2016 by the Sinai Authoritative Cultural Foundation. Another Italian source reports that Camilla's grandfather's name was Giuseppe. From the video we can also learn that Vivaldi's first violin was made of imported "300-year-old Zaporozhian oak". Only violins are not made of oak at all, contrary to the content of the heads of some Ukrainian bloggers. This is how the Ukrainians try to forcefully "land" Vivaldi, on whose name they thought to call another media victory.
